    Add three tablespoons of vinegar to one cup of water.
    Add to a spray bottle and use this solution to wipe down your bamboo with a cloth.
    If food odours linger, rub some lemon on the lid.

How To Remove Stains:

  • Mix baking soda with water – 2 parts water, 1 part baking soda.
    Scrub the mixture onto the stain and let it sit for a couple of minutes.
    Rinse with water and dry with a clean cloth.
  • Lemon is a multi-purpose natural cleaner and is excellent in removing stains, including from bamboo.
    Add a squeeze a lemon into a water/baking soda mixture – refer above.
    You can also just slice a lemon in half, sprinkle it with rough salt and rub the affected area.
